Al playing 90's Al in Sandy Wexler
This just got released today on Netflix. Sandler is pretty funny and there was Rikishi from WWE but somehow when I saw Al's scene I was like holy, how does Sandler get the best musicians in his movies! Great scene, Al almost made me cry with the caring for someone speech. Loved that old look too and the shirt! Though the movie is based in 1995 and they quote Pretty Fly For A Rabbi from '99. Gotta buy this damn movie now, it has plenty of great moments from hilarious actors. Check it out! Great job, finally Al and Sandler in a movie!

That was my favorite part of the movie. I never expected him to show up, but he is responsible for the turning point in the film! It was awesome. And you get to see 90's Al (which looked spot on by the way) but also current Al.
Nerd goof: Sandy Wexler mentions "Pretty Fly for a Rabbi" even though the scene was set in 1995 (4 years before the song came out) and Al still had his classic look.

Haha yeah I mentioned that. I wonder if Al mentioned that or just said whatever in his mind and just rolled with it when they were filming. I knew Sandler was a fan since he has mentioned Al and made references in some of his other movies. Shakes The Clown and Blended to name a couple.

That "Pretty Fly For A Rabbi" error made me twitch... Love the shirt choice (my favorite Jams World shirt), and they did a much better job redoing the 80-90's era Al than the Goldbergs appearance. I think it might be because they used his real hair rather than a wig. Anyway, nice cameo!

I'm very surprised Al didn't correct it, but maybe he's only a perfectionist in his own work

Pretty sure Sandler just needed the reference to Pretty Fly For A Rabbi, for obvious reasons. I mean, this isn't a very accurate 90s biopic anyway.
The scene was pretty funny. If Al was doing video clips next year for the live show, this would be a shoe-in.

Anyone have a still of Al in costume for this as 90s Al? Not sure if I feel like watching an Adam Sandler movie.

Wow. That really is an accurate, Era appropriate look for Al's real modern day hair.

They did an awesome job. Then he plays normal modern Al at the end of the movie too, so that's cool.
