Apparently Al was on Howard Stern this morning for almost a full hour. I'll have to try and track down a recording of that.

Anyone know if there's a way to listen to archived recordings of the Stern show? (I have a feeling it's subscription only....)

So far I've found this:

http://emptylighthouse.com/weird-al-yan ... 1005678070" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Which includes a few clips from the show, and it refers back to this:

http://marksfriggin.com/news16/5-16.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

which is a pretty detailed write up of what was discussed (it's some ways down the page).

Thanks for posting this. A really good summary of the interview. Seems like Howard did a lot of research for this interview, seriously, but still hit all of the stories that we fans have heard a bunch of times. Still, great exposure for Al in a non-traditional outlet for him. My dad is a vociferous Stern fan (and is also named Howard!), so he broke the news to me this morning about the interview.

That was a very detailed write up, though it seems like it was written by A 5 year old! I need to find a way to acquire this interview...

Imagine the type of person who would listen to every episode of Howard Stern and summarize each one beat by beat. Every day. Surprised they have a five year old's brain capacity? Still grateful they did it because I feel like I got the gist of how it went.

A lot of Stern interviews end up on YouTube in days so...

And he's a pretty good interviewer. Granted, for us, most of what's covered we know but I'm positive most of Stern's audience doesn't listen to Al.
