So Al shows up for the first time in Episode 4 "Auditions". He comes in with pretty high energy and made me laugh right away, I'm guessing he will be showing up a lot more. As I type this he just showed up again, same place, telling people how to act like a one celled organism, or turtle, etc. Yeah, he must have quite a few scenes throughout the season.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Scratch that, it is just the one episode and then a mention of his actual name in the following episode. Short season, but it was worth checking out.

Watched Al's episode last night. Was a lot of fun! Really enjoying the series so far. Nothing special, but still enjoyable. Bit of a bummer Al doesn't come back, but then again, I really wasn't expecting him to. Looking forward to watching the rest of it!

I watched the first few episodes last night. I wish Al had featured more prominently but I thought he was great! I'm really digging the show - I love anything that feels nostalgic and I've always had a fondness for dated summer camp slasher flicks (okay so this one doesn't have a slasher, but that's okay! Ha). I'm having trouble remembering who is supposed to be a teenager and who is supposed to be a real adult though, haha.

Michael showalter looks so much older it's hard to buy the prequel premise of this series.

That's what makes it so funny!

Finally watched a big chunk of the episodes last night. I've always loved the movie and the series does not disappoint. I was so into it that I'd forgotten Al was going to show up, so when he did it made it that much better.

SPOILERS: Jon Hamm emerging from Al's face was a highlight for sure. My husband said it was his favorite part of the series so far, so I found a gif of it for him and he keeps looking at it and giggling.

What do you guys think of that little red haired kid? He had me laughing pretty good but he is the exact type of kid I wanted to smack when I was in school.

I laughed but I definitely knew kids like that when I was younger and they suck.

TBH he kind of ruined the whole subplot with Kevin for me. I may even say maybe the whole show. I'm very sensitive to swearing and bullying I just wanted to break both of his legs twice and give him a good taste of his own medicine. Hdsg;khrwiognrog. I hated him so much. Maybe more than I should have.
