Weird Al on the Late Late Show Without Craig Ferguson (2/17)

Post by Muppetboy09 »

Al and the band will be performing again on The Late Late Show next month!!! If it was anything like last time, they would play the second parody off the album, which would be Foil, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he did :wordcrimes: What do you guys think?

My best guess is that Al will be playing either "Handy" or "Word Crimes". Judging by his Conan appearance, he seems to be performing the parodies in the order that they were released during #8Videos8Days so "Word Crimes" might be a better fit here seeing as how it was the second video released. Plus, "Foil" strikes a lot of people (including myself) as a parody that might only be performed in the medley. It's not like I can't imagine Al doing that one live in its entirety, but I don't see it happening over "Handy" or "Word Crimes".

I like how you were able to deduce a pattern based on a single performance lol.

The only reason I "deduced" a pattern was because by reading back to last appearance, I found that minnick said...
minnick27 wrote:Well since he is most likely promoting his tour which promotes the album, Id say its an album track. Probably TMZ since its the second parody
I assumed there was some logic behind him performing the second parody off the album after reading it, so I went along with it.

I'm pretty sure TMBJon was referring to Killingsworth, not you  (as his claim "Judging by his Conan appearance, he seems to be performing the parodies in the order that they were released" is quite a stretch  )

The song we plan to play is not an obvious choice. :)

Jackson.Park.Express. Lock Thread. End of topic.

No, but in all seriousness, I think it might be an original, since we are all guessing parodies. *GASP* What if this is the time we finally get to hear Mission Statement performed live?!?!? :yay:

As long as we're going all out with our guesses, how about Mission Statement performed by Al...with accompaniment by David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and/or Graham Nash!
