Okay, well I changed the subject of this topic because apparently he's now going to be on Headline News instead.

Also, Al will be doing a brief interview on Headline News on Friday May 16th around 5:15 Pacific Time, so feel free to check that out too!

Mmm mmm mmm mmm. Mmm mmm mmm mmm.

Mmm mmm mmm mmm. Mmm mmm mmm mmm.

Oh. Sorry. Glad I didn't set the VCR at my parent's place yet.

"Hi Mom and Dad!"

"Oh loving son, you've come to visit us!"

"Um.... yeah.... hang on while I re-set the VCR. Whoa, look at the time, gotta run. See you Friday after this thing tapes."

Just kidding, of course, my parents and I get along just fine and don't worry, I visit them more than once a week... and not just to tape things!!

Stupid CNN. Don't they realize that Al would put them back on top in the ratings?

Think about it. CNN was doing fine when they had Al talking about Touring With Scissors.....a few years later, without Al, they're looking up at Fox News. Coincidence? Probably....

Headline News is its own station. But it's owned by CNN, so there is some overlap. But it is definitely its own station.

Well that was a nice little interview... by the look on Al's face, it looks like the interviewer might have gotten the lyrics wrong to.. the song she was trying to quote the lyrics to (I'll try to be friendly to spoiler avoiders since there's no spoiler warning in the title of this thread). Got to hear a little clip of said song as well... sounds good so far! :)

It was funny, the anchor was reading a somber story about Barry White

having a stroke, and while he was reading the names of Barry's most

famous songs, he was cracking up about Al. He really had to struggle to

keep a straight face.

It was a nice interview, but I thought Al looked very tired. (That's not a

criticism, just a concern.) I don't think most people could tell, though, he did a good job of hiding it.

It's too bad people weren't set up to channel energy to each other like

power plants.

I agree. Hopefully he's all right, or at least has been rehearsing hard.

The interview could have been a bit longer, IMO, especially considering all the hype Headline News was giving it the hour beforehand. For the life of me, they had an actual commercial for the interview!
