Sony Legacy's commercial for "The Essential..."

They're attempting a Ronco-ish "call now!" style spoof, but it's kind of weak.

They're attempting to imitate Al's humor, but its' just not quite there yet...

This reminds me, the other day on CRACKED.com, the always brilliant Michael Swaim gave us his take on Al's many pale imitators in his "6 Types of YouTube Videos There Are WAY Too Many Of." He started with "Quick! Name Any Song...yes, there is a YouTube parody of that song... also I can hear you through your speakers..." then he showed clips from said parodies (most were either "Poker Face" or "I'm On A Boat) saying "It's like a little army of Weird Als'...if Al ONLY had a green screen, ONLY parodied sh*tty top 40 dance pop and ran his voice through the opposite of an autotuner...oh, and if he also had a botched frontal lobotomy..." great stuff...I highly reccomend any of Mr. Swaims' videos....

I liked the ad, thought it worked pretty well.

I prefer it when JCM and KRH are fighting each other, not agreeing!! :x:
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.
