Not sure if anyone's seen this yet, but there are clips from the Avril and Celine interviews over on VH1.com now.

Is Al the one who owns Al-TV? If so, why has it never been released on video?

Don't tell me CBS has some strange petty claim on this, too...

I'm guessing that VH1 actually owns it.

Either VH1 or MTV (which owns VH1) owns the newest ALTV. They also happen to own the interview clips that Al used. I don't think there's any way he could legally release this on video without the consent of the interviewees. Somehow I don't think Missy would allow it. Also, even if VH1 or MTV put it out on video they'd have to acquire the rights from all the artists in the polka medley, plus the Avril, Nelly, and BSB vids.

So, basically the only thing from ALTV that he can release on video is the "Bob" video, and it looks like that's going to happen anyway on the "Ultimate Collection."

MTV OWNS VH1? Now I'm mad. Well, at least VH1 not as bad as MTV is yet.

Yeah, I didn't think about all the permission involved in an Al-TV video. Geez!

Just saw AL-TV again (after VH1 decided to air it an hour after they were supposed to! Good thing I stuck around!). My sort-of-Al-fan son loved it! Poor Harvey, so cute and so squished! My favorite part was the Eminem interview. I told my son to watch Al practice the fine art of ripping someone up, and he almost fell out his chair laughing. But I don't like seeing Al get punched...was that a reference to something, or just pointless violence inflicted on our beloved AL? And did anyone notice how low Al's voice was when he was introducing MM? Gave me chills!
