Between the two, I was always more of a TV Album guy.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

But of course. Compilations exist solely to make extra cash. Al's label knew it would sell.

As I've said, I like this comp, and I think it's pretty cool that it went Gold. I think the TV Album is kinda silly, but I think the Food idea is actually pretty decent. I just wish the liner notes had been more interesting.

I used to play that a bunch too. But, only had it on cassette. Still have it, but it's not been played in years, as my tapedeck on the radio no longer works.

Was thinking of doing a combined food/tv cd, as I have all the songs on cd's. Take it with me to work and such.

I played the smurf out of my TV compilation when I was a kid.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Oh man that is really funny. I definitely destroyed a few cassettes. I think maybe the Food Album, Alapalooza, or Greatest Hits 1.

Hell, my copy of SOL is all scratched to hell. I got an original Scotti Bros. print of the TV album at a record store on Pearl Street and I assume it still plays as well as it did when I got it.
