If The Lonely Island can get one, Al can get one. ;)

If the Twilight Soundtrack can get a vinyl release, Al can get one...

A handful of the most absolute best selling major releases over the last 3 years is hardly standard practice

The fact that they are on major labels is the reason for their success in the first place. Did you really want him to list every album that has been released on vinyl in the last few years? Anyway, not all of them are true "hits", and besides, I've seen a lot of strange (new) vinyl at my local record stores, and a lot of repressing lately (think random stuff that wasn't a hit 20 years ago).

And, I don't think ''Incredibad'' has even gone gold yet. Al's last release went gold pretty quickly and he's on a major label.

I haven't seen any vinyl albums around here, really. Maybe Best Buy but haven't seen em there either. Shame, cause I'd buy some.

Update, I finally got a copy of "Even Worse" on vinyl. ;)

I walked into my local used record store and heard "Velvet Elvis" playing faintly in the background somewhere, so I searched the store until I found the LP being played on a record table, with the art and inserts proudly hung up. I promptly asked how much it was, and a clerk told me $2.58, which I consider a steal. It was awesome, and it made my day.

Not when your local flea market is the frequent site of shootings. <_<
