The main one for would have to be "Gump," which I don't like at all, while "Lump" is one of my all-time favorite songs.

Then there's "Bedrock Anthem," though I think that has more to do with Al's song being annoyingly bad because I don't really love the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Otherwise, I think "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is far better than "Smells Like Nirvana" even though Al's song is one of my favorites.

Some of the others mentioned are spot on as well.

Hmmm, let's see...

"Couch Potato" - "Lose Yourself" is 100% better than Al's parody. I'm surprised nobody mentioned it yet.

"Syndicated Inc." - "Misery" was a really good song, and Al just trashed it completely!

"Girls Just Want to Have Lunch" - "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" is a LOT better.

"Trash Day" - "Hot in Herrre" was better.

That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure there are others.

Here's another one for me: My Bologna.

The album version is too fast, and the music is not like the original at all. I guess it's sort of like Another One Rides The Bus.

The live version I heard during the Poodle Hat Tour was much better.

Going through the entire discography, here are the songs where the original is better than Al's version. Doesn't mean I dislike Al's version, or that I particularly like the original...

My Sharona
Another One Bites The Dust
The Safety Dance
Lola
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Addicted To Love
Who's Johnny
Mony Mony
Smells Like Teen Spirit
Under The Bridge & Give It Away
Livin' On The Edge
Lump
Misery
American Pie
One Week
Lose Yourself
Piano Man
American Idiot

I chose to ignore all unreleased songs, and also all style parodies (for example, all Rage Against the Machine songs are better than I'll Sue Ya but I don't think that's fair to compare nor relevant to this topic).

Reading that, definitely add "Under the Bridge" and "Piano Man" to my list.

Also, I have no idea why I alternated between using the original and Al's parody titles in my first post.

I will list mine by the parody. I like most of these in varying degrees(not so much "Girls"). I hate The Plumbing Song. I am not sure I have heard the original honestly but I can't imagine it's much better than the parody.

She Drives Me Crazy
Bohemian Polka(definitely least fave polka)
I Want A New Duck
The Brady Bunch
Ode To A Superhero
Girls Just Want To Have Lunch
Addicted To Spuds
Living with a Hernia
Saga Begins
Is my dude a dweeb?

While I am not the biggest fan of "Trash Day," I have to say Hot In Herre is one of the worst songs of all time. As you may know, Hot In Herre won the Lou Bega Award for Nelly in 2002.

Most of these are just because I'm a bit of a muso (If it's in blue I like the original, If it's in yellow I'm neutral to the original and if it's in red I don't like an original)-

These are songs I like the original better-

Another One Rides the Bus
Lola
Money for Nothing
Smells Like Teen Spirit (Smells like Teen Spirit is my favourite song)
Under The Bridge/Give it Away
Misery (Misery is by 2nd favourite song)
Lose Yourself
American Idiot
Jeopardy
I Want a New Drug
Mony Mony
She Drives Me Crazy
Piano Man
Mickey
Ruthless People
Baby Don't Forget My Number/Blame it on the Rain

These are songs I like the original and the parody equally-

My Sharona
The Eye of the Tiger
Addicted to Love
Stand
Livin' on the Edge
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
Lump
Pretty Fly for a White Guy
One Week
It's All About the Benjamins
Hot in Herre
Living in America
Confessions Part II
Trapped in the Closet
Whatever You Like
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Who's Johnny
Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm

These are songs I like the parody better-

King of Pain
Wild Thing
U Can't Touch This
Gangsta's Paradise
Waterfalls
Ridin'
I Love Rock 'n' Roll
Beat It
The Safety Dance
Like a Virgin
Bad
(I've Got My Mind) Set On You
La Bamba
(You Got It) The Right Stuff
Achy Breaky Heart
Zoot Suit Riot
Do I Make You Proud?
Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
I Think We're Alone Now
Rico Suave

American Pie
I Want It That Way
Complicated
