For a while, the UHF soundtrack was actually the most difficult to find of all the albums. It was the last to be re-issued by Scott Bros. when they were re-issuing the albums on CD in the early '90s. I don't think it's been all that hard to find since then, though.

Yeah, I heard people say that it was hard to find.

I went to K-Mart a few years back and they had like, a dozen copies, and I was thinking: "Hard to find?"

Yes, I found Peter & the Wolf long before I found UHF Soundtrack. I remember one summer I called every record store in the Philadelphia area and finally got Peter & the Wolf, and then repeated the same process unsuccessfully to find UHF Soundtrack. I think I eventually got it from CDNow (the predecessor to Amazon) but it took a few years.

If you got it from a Tower Records, you may actually own the very copy I picked up and put back when I was an 8-year-old dumbass.

It was the Tower Records on Roosevelt Blvd in Northeast Philly.

Oh snap. :o I'm pretty sure I found it at the one on South St. though so I guess it would be morally wrong for me to go to California and steal your copy :(

It would be pretty crazy if you did since I don't have the CD here. You would only need to go to Richboro, PA, and rummage through the closet in my bedroom. There are boxes and boxes of CDs and one of them in there is Peter & The Wolf.

It's quite funny but I don't think it really holds up for repeat listens.

I have this on CD... snagged it on ebay at like 4 in the morning for about 30 bucks. I felt pretty lucky, as I've seen bids on this thing go well above $100. But, I've also heard of people finding it in used record stores for like $5. Guess they're luckier. I'm glad I own it.

Still looking for a vinyl copy. That'd be nice to have. Someday.

But honestly. Why don't they reissue this thing, or at least put it on iTunes or something?
