Al did ask permission to use those lyrics. He's used lyrics written by Sherwood Schwartz twice. For Amish Paradise, and for The Brady Bunch.

I believe he used them without changing them, and I don't think he has to have permission as long as he pays the appropriate royalties. I believe he credited them in the liner notes too.

I think he does mention him in there. I haven't read the liner notes in long time.

Um I meant that I wasn't around when it was on the air. Instead of reruns.

And I haven't really memorized the theme song. Sorry!

I used to watch that show all the time. I know the lyrics by heart. Anyway, if you're in doubt as to how they go, go here.

Yeah I've seen it. But I don't think I liked when I saw it. I've only seen it once or twice. I've turned the channel on it more then that. Sorry!

The Professor and Mary Ann were added later...

Well, yeah, but the most important, part, the part Al used, is there no matter which version it is. Btw, I didn't make the site. Complain to the folks who did. Besides, those were still written by Sherwood Schwartz, whether they were orignals or added in later lyrics, right?
