That's an interesting point. I think Coolio was already considered a joke by that time, but the success of AP probably made it worse. It's possible that why he was so mad.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

*Dawn of the Topic :lookaround:*

I was listening to OTAS, and heard
But then one day he went to that science lab
That mutated spider came down
There's a problem with this; the mutated spider wasn't a 'mutated spider', in the movie, it was genetically altered. In the comics, however, the spider passed through a radioactive stream/ray.

Um, Just wanted to point that out. :F

A mutation is a change to a gene...so a genetically altered spider COULD be mutated. It depends on how the alteration was achieved. :)

Thanks for the bump. I must say, it gave me a much needed laugh this a.m.

In reading this topic, I am truly in awe of the wit, eloquence and mastery of the English language displayed in some of these posts.

Thanks.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but from Germs:
Now if I ever dare to go to sleep, that's when they start their sneak attack.
In the morning, I wake up in utter horror...
How could he wake up in utter horror if he never went to sleep in the first place? o.O

I guess he must be talking about the nights when he HAS dared to go to sleep... Otherwise it doesn't make much sense!

Yeah... He did say "if" ... So, if he dares to go to sleep, he would wake up in utter horror. But... if, and only if.

Assuming that the "everyone you know" are peers of the 42-year-old pitiful guy, isn't it a little more pitiful that people that age are still calling someone "Farty Pants" than the fact that someone is getting called that?

I believe it speaks to the fartypantsness of the 42-year-old pitiful guy. He has attained such a high level of fartypantsdom that his peers, who would otherwise not be compelled to do so, have no other course of action than to refer to him as Fartypants.

Fartypantsdom! :D

Calling somebody "fartypants" when you're in your 40's is lame, but meriting the name is lamer still. Just my opinion. :P
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.
