The Al-at-Work Experiment

I recently aquired a new "boss" at my job (That is in quotes for MANY reasons) any way it turns out he is also an Al Fan. Almost all of his CD's are Al cd's which is cool...except it seems the only time he talks to me is to ask me a question about Al (He seems to refuse to go to weirdal.com to find the answers). I would love to sit around and talk about Al all day..but...um..I have work to do...

I played a lot of Al at a block party I was at. There really wasn't that much reaction to anything...

Someone came up to me when I played I Lost on Jeopardy. People seemed to enjoy Angry White Boy Polka and Hardware Store. But that's mostly it...

At my bowling thing, they did play Couch Potato. The kids were gettin into it, then it started skipping so during the last chorus he switched and one of the girls said "Good it's over" and there was a few "NO! THAT WAS A GOOD SONG!" and a few complimented me on it.

Same girl who didn't like UHF because it didn't have any "hot boys" in it.

No, but the leading man is quite the hottie. Or to be more accurate: the hottie to be. He still hadn't quite gotten there. Oh, but he was well on his way.

Slightly off, but I remember last year when I came back from OC, my supervisor asked how my little vacation was. I told her I visited some friends and such and that I went to see Al a few times in concert.

She then went, "Well, he's not worth it."
