You guys, it's a known stereotype that white people (especially WASPs) love mayonnaise. That's all there is to it.

I thought the stereotype was indeed that white people put mayo on everything. Just check out the Eddie Griffin movie "Undercover Brother." There's a section of it where he acts... well... white and nerdy to blend in with a bunch of white people and every time there's a sandwich, it's slathered in mayo. To make it tolerable, he brought in a high-tech wristwatch that can squirt hot sauce on his food.

But yes, I thought that's always been the stereotype.

I never knew that stereotype existed until a short while ago. Probably because I'm not American and putting mayo on sandwiches isn't a thing we do here at all, to the point where it's considered weird.

Instead, we put our mayo on fries. The way God intended!

Some people do that here, too. One thing involving fries that I've seen heated arguments over is whether it's good to dip your fries in milkshakes / ice cream / a Wendy's Frosty / etc. Some love it, and others act like you kicked their dog if you do it.
