TMBJon wrote: This is really one of the great meta-Al questions, isn't it? Is the narrator/singer of, say, Fat meant to be thought of as Weird Al himself? Or is it Michael Jackson? Or some other person? And if it's the other person, do they know about Michael Jackson's song, Bad, or in that universe does Bad not exist? Does the narrator know they are singing parody lyrics? These are questions I think about often.
This is when we need Philo to return from the planet Zarquon and answer these questions on Secrets of the Universe.
Heds wrote: I looked up the Frosty, because out of the loop, and WHY THE HELL DO PEOPLE GO AND DO THAT? That is seriously so freaking disgusting in so many ways. Would rather tackle an extra hot chicken butterfly at Nandos, and by extra hot I mean SUPER HOT. They do that stuff very spicy guys don't underestimate the Nandos.

It's like putting fries into a slushie. So disgusting.
The Frosty and a slushie are worlds apart. Both excellent, but incredibly different. As for why, there are many reasons, but the most popular is that you get sweet and salty, and hot and cold in one bite.

I'm thinking that you really enjoy Nando's, Heds. I don't know why. I just have a feeling. ;)

The food looks a lot like this one place near my house. They make chicken in a similar fashion, but it isn't spicy. Come to think of it, it would be awesome if they did a spicy version of this chicken.
The greatest thing a human being can do is make another person happy. If I can ever help do that for you, just let me know!

French fries being dipped into a frosty is the ultimate sweet and salty combo that has ever been invented. It's considered one of the great discoveries of the fast food era. Heds, this may be a Green Eggs & Ham scenario. Maybe you should try it before you dismiss it out of hand!

It sounds so damn disgusting. It's like taking a Nando's frozen yogurt and stuffing the chicken in it. There's no Wendy's up north here anyways so...

Would you like them in a house?
Would you like them with a mouse?
Would you, could you on a boat?
Would you, could you with a goat?

I do not like them
in a house.
I do not like them
with a mouse.
I do not like them
here or there.
I do not like them
anywhere.
I do not like the idea of Frosty and Fries.
I do not like them, Sir Jon Katz.

Also, Yankopunk, it is very true. I go for a cheeky Nandos at least once a month. I've even eaten at one close to a venue Al played once, as if my two loves wouldn't go THAT far!

But I'd still rather tackle an extra-hot Butterfly Chicken (a Butterfly Burger would be cheating) at Nandos than put a bunch of salty, thin chips into an ice-cream/slushie combo. That's just... wrong.

P.S if you mods are gonna split this bit of the topic as another topic PLEASE rename it "HEDS VS. OTHER MEMBERS SUPER HOT SAUCE DUEL"

Okay the last part didn't rhyme, but you're missing the point. At the end of Green Eggs & Ham, the guy realized he DID like green eggs & ham after all that insistence that he would never like it. Look how it ends:
You do not like them.
So you say.
Try them! Try them!
And you may.
Try them and you may I say.

Sam!
If you will let me be,
I will try them.
You will see.

Say!
I like green eggs and ham!
I do! I like them, Sam-I-am!

I do so like
green eggs and ham!
Thank you!
Thank you,
Sam-I-am
As Drake would say, you can thank me later! (T)

But the joke I was trying to make was that's the complete opposite, so the story goes on forever and ever and ever and ever...

Also, sorry, I tried my hardest to make a rhyme! :P

My daughter is 11 and just dipped her fries in her frosty for the first time in July. She did not like it. I failed as a father

Speaking of Frosty and Fries, I still disapprove of the combo no matter how much Jon can convince me. ;)

As Jon would say:
"As Drake would say, you can thank me later. (T) "
