It's "Twine Ball" for me, too.

I had to go with YDLMA. I've used it on lots of mix tapes (or mix CDs later) and it's always last, so I've programmed myself to hear it as an ending much more than the others.

Went back and forth a lot, but settled on Albuquerque for a couple reasons. First, it really couldn't work anywhere else on an album but the end. Not just because of the length and epic-ness, but also its "grand finale" ending. I also feel like it works perfectly with the rest of RWS, which is a predominantly upbeat album.

Well, obviously, "Albuquerque."
It feels like the entire RWS album hinges on ending with that song.

Re: Best album closer
I highly disagree with that. Yes, it is the perfect album closer, but Running With Scissors is a very strong album, and is easily one of my favorites. Yes, Albuquerque is a part of what makes the album amazing, but it would still stand strong if it had something else finish it off.TheLazenby wrote:It feels like the entire RWS album hinges on ending with that song.

I'm surprised that Albuquerque is winning so overwhelmingly. I think Twine Ball is a much better song.

I had to go with Twine Ball. It's one of my favorite Al songs.

Wow, I'm very surprised to see Albuquerque running away with this.
I voted for The Night Santa Went Crazy because BHD is my favorite album and I think it Al's darkest track. Knowing that the Extra Gory version was in fact the original recorded version also helped.
