Hey guys.
Those past few weeks, François Pérusse was taking out his best souvenirs for the radio station he has his skits on, and he has many songs amongst them, and a few I had never heard of. So... here is the new part of the Pérusse/Yankovic comparison! I will of course talk about some others that appeared in the past similar post.
Les Simpsons passent au Bart (The Simpsons at the Bart)
Already a pun with "bat" and a reference to baseball, huh? That song wanted to parody Michael Jackson`s Do the Bartman. This was on his first album for the 30000 first copies sold, as Jackson`s lawyers said "Remove that". And he did, so those who have it got collector editions of Pérusse`s first album.
This song can be compared to Fat and Eat It, while it refers to Simpsons (and mainly pokes fun at Bart`s spiky hair).

Fadeli Fadela
Pérusse admitted this song was a parody of Crystal Waters` Gipsy Woman. He was inspired by the chorus, which was only "dodely dodela". It was on Pérusse`s first album, but after 30000 copies the lawyers caught him and he replaced it with a song which (in my opinion) sucks. But it`s good souvenirs. I don`t know if I can compare it to any song, but for the lyrics (since Fadeli Fadela retells how this singer got to sing this song) I am reminded of (This Song is Just) Six World Long.

Guy a un bicycle jaune (Guy got a Yellow Bicycle)
One night, Pérusse dreamt he was singing in a show-bar a French, parodied version of "Me and Mrs. Jones" by Billy Paul. He made a song about it, and it`s his longest with 4 minutes twenty seconds. He is very proud of it. To think it all started with a dream... awesome, isn`t it? Anyway, it`s a very well-known song by Pérusse, but I can`t compare it to any Weird Al song.

Mal â tête (Headache)
Céline Dion comes from Quebec, she`s a French Canadian. Before going English, she sang a lot of French songs. Amongst them, a song that can be roughly translated to "I`m dancing in my head". She was exxagerating the D of dancing, so it sounded "d-d-d-d-dancing". Pérusse ridiculously exxagerated the thing by making a whole song that contained a ton of this kind of tongue joke. It refers Woody Woodpecker (gives ya an idea of what happens very often in the song...) It got some very clever jokes, as well as exactly the kind of humor Al Yankovic does. It`s HI-LA-RIOUS. We can consider this a parody of "I`m Dancing in my Head" - I think. It has a reference to the Bolduc, a Qc singer in the 50s. Can`t really compare it to any Weird Al song.

Le chien (The Dog)
Around 1991, the French boyband Pow Wow released "Le chat" (The Cat", a fully a capella song with four voices (Yes, yes, just like Since You`ve Been Gone!) Pérusse really liked The Cat, so he parodied the song and completed The Dog (which is, by the way, longer than SYBG). He pokes some cruel fun at Pow Wow but the band, which was in Qc at that time, really enjoyed it. They liked the kind of jokes in there. PLus, The Dog got something similar to SYBG: The last 20 seconds contain twice something similar to the "Yap yap diddy bow bow bow..." part... One that makes vocal jazz, and the other being the four singers singing the same difficult thing at the exact same time (he did all the voices one after the other, remember). That`s probably the only song by Pérusse that has beaten the Weird Al comparison I could do of it.

Butler (no name yet)
One day, Pérusse completed an impossible bet: He got Edith Butler (a French woman singing very lovely songs) into singing a demonic tune. He voiced Edith, and he sang with that woman voice, over a Led Zeppelin song which he transformed to become satanic. Hugely based on Immigrant Song from the third album of Led Zeppelin (I think), it was a good song to my ears. But Edith, who was at the radio studio some days later, heard it and openly HATED it. I can compare this to the trouble with Coolio for Amish Paradise, while the song can be compared to any rock song by Al and Nature Trail to Hell for the lyrics. No wait, it`s darker than that.

Snack-Bar chez Raymond (Snack Bar at Raymond`s)
That one I already talked about. It`s his third favorite of all his songs.
Le soleil (The Sun)
That song, which reminds me of Buy me a Condo, has already been mentioned before. It`s Pérusse`s second personal favorite of all the ones he did.
Saint-Néant (Saint-Boring)
That one I talked about it before. It was really good. Actually, I think of translating it, as it reminds me of Al`s type of humor. It`s his favorite song of all, amongst all the ones he did.
...that`s pretty much it now,I guess.
