Thursday, May 19th, it's my comedy band's first concert. The point is, I'm REALLY nervous about it! I mean, I already performed onstage a lot before, with our University's comedy troupe or in song contests, but NEVER did a musical parody concert. *Hawaiian shirts and accordion included*. So folks, please, give me some advice or just support with "Seva, you're gonna rock the place!!!"-like phrases. Thanks a bunch! Loveya! :D

Al's only Russian fan, cranking out tunes with a Hawaiian shirt and an accordion? What's not to love about that? You'll polka down with your bad self, and get the crowd going!

Polka on, Seva!

WOW, folks! Thanks for a support! Big hug to everyone!

Well, the concert was great. We performed 10 parody songs, mocking new and old Russian big hits, and everyone was cheered up!
Actually, it had some nasty moments - 2 microphones broke down 'cause I was singing WAY too loud (!!!), and there was also drunken lady in the begininng, who was screaming "Disgusting!!! It's a PLAGIARISM!!!", what I consider to be pretty stupid, due to what our genre is. But anyway, people loved it, we've got new fans, so it was great! After all, there's nothing better than to turn a romantic love song into the whole song about cheese!

And thus, I have now a serious question for you.
Did Al ever have some problems on his concerts? Bad mixing, annoying folks, technique problems, etc.? Thanks a lot!

I believe that Al's had some really bad technical and weather related problems at Konocti.
