I was wondering if the Close Personal Freinds Of Al will ever re-open it's doors as a fan club? I didn't know about Al back when it was still in full swing (sorry, I was five years old), and I've heard about the newsletter things you use to send out.

Thanks again, agian

I don't know of any plans to revive it after more than a dozen years of inactivity, and I'm not sure there's even a need for a "club" when fans can get a ridiculously huge amount of info and photos, the latest news and concert dates as they occur - for free and on demand - at weirdal.com There's even a mailing list we occasionally use to send the biggest news.

Except maybe for sending out a card or certificate to the members, a fan club doesn't really serve the same purpose as it did just 10 years ago.
