OK..here's hoping this is NOT a repeat question. If I, somehow, missed the answer to this elsewhere......just take this crowbar and BASH my head right in...be my guest:

How much input, to your knowledge , does Al have on things like lighting, effects, props and choreography?

Input for what - TV? Concert? Videos? It varies, and Al often has final approval on things anyway.

My bad, that's what I get for rushing...........specifically the live shows. I assumed Al controlled , pretty much all aspects........but I was curious about the lighting.

It really adds to the overall energy of the program.

Our long-time lighting designer cooks up and operates the lights, and I think Al has been pretty satisfied. I don't know if he's ever made any serious changes to the LD's design.
