Band Name

Jon, I have always felt that aside from this forum and Al's hardcore fans, the band gets very little recognition and most people don't even know you guys exist. Besides giving the band a name for tours, like The Stupid Band or the Deep End Band, has there ever been any serious discussion about giving the band a permanent name and using it on the album covers, like "Weird Al" Yankovic and the _________ Band?

Al's the artist, it just happens that he's been lucky to have the same band throughout his commercial career. I know we're considered a band where it counts, but I don't miss being named as part of the act. I don't know that a permanent name would be appropriate, because we'd be locked into it, even when a new album might sujggest a better name.
I'm not sure if the new album will spawn a new band name. It could... I just don't know if we're past that or not. I think the last album-oriented band name we had was the Bad Hair Band, that was 18 years ago!

A long long time ago someone (hint, it was Bermuda) Suggested the name Innocuous Silhouettes as an album name and it got suggested as the name for the band. Scottidog even made up a design for a tshirt

Oh, I thought I had somehow said that's a good name for an Al abum. Whew!
