I remember first reading this on Wikipedia years ago so naturally, I decided to check the source they cited. It turns out their source was the Ask Al archives circa June 1999.

I always thought this was for the UHF soundtrack despite the fact that neither Ask Al or Wikipedia actually said this. I guess I just assumed it was for UHF just because it ended up having an all-one-artist polka anyway.

Maybe Al just really wanted to do his first themed polka and decided to move on to the next artist he was considering Good thing the Stones were gracious enough to let him use their songs.
