Attention new members (January 2013)

Welcome to WOWAY!
We've been having several problems with spambots of late, and while we work on a more permanent solution, I strongly urge for newly registered members to post in the Big Introduction topic as soon as possible (You could always start a topic to introduce yourself, as long as you don't mind it being locked afterwards
)
The risk in dealing with removing spambots is that it's possible a legitimate new member will accidentally get caught up in the problem and be banned (Especially if they have a real funky name like zzzx40cyt1 or something)
If you can make a quickie introduction post or two instead of the usual new member lurking, that would be great and help out a lot.
