Well, I can't post a new topic, but in the event a mod/admin sees this, the intent of this particular post is to notify VA Al fans of another concert just listed:

*** 8/5/2007 (Sunday, August 5, 2007) at King's Dominion in Doswell, VA ***

(as linked in from the "Weird Al" Yankovic: On Tour page on 5/14/07)

That's the first venue where I saw Al live in 2000 on the TWS tour! Just waiting for tix to go on sale now... ;)

Awesome!!

I was hoping this venue would be added at some point!
Bob's bigger balls begged, beyond bountiful, believable bonus bragging rights to be beheld.

Bah.

Let's see, one concert in Richmond down, one more fresh new one to go!

MAN, I haven't been to King's Dominion (literally) since Al played through for the Running with Scissors tour back when I was in high school. Thats...and I'm counting on fingers here, 7 years!? WTH, really??

I wish there was a way AROUND the whole 'Paying to get into the Park and not wanting to GO into the park'-thing. Damn scam, for real.

I plan on going to this show.

Never been to King's Dominion in Doswell before, but I absolutely love seeing Al in amusement parks, especially Paramount's. So, definitely can't wait for this show.

I'm going to try to make this show too! I put in an email notification request with Ticketmaster so hopefully, I'll have the money for tickets when the time rolls around. I haven't been to Kings Dominion in years so this is a good excuse to go again!

Go to KingsDominion.com and click on the events and concerts link. I checked yesterday and there wasn't anything yet about tickets being on sale. In fact, there was nothing on their site about Al being booked yet. Since it was just posted on the mothership a few days ago, they may not have scheduled the sale yet. Also, if you go to the ticketmaster link from there, you can sign up to get email notifications from ticketmaster about when tickets will be going on sale.

Look out VA! uwvark is making plans. My father lives in nearby Gordonsville and I think I might be able to swing this. I can take my son around thru the park in the day and then treat him to a one of a kind AL show at night! (I ain't taking him to da Burgh show)

How much are tickets to get into the park anyway? Babies free I hope. I'll check that website eh!

:peace:

I think the site said the adult admission is $39.99. I'm going to see if I can find some coupons around here; sometimes the supermarkets will have ones for a few bucks off the general admission price. If I come across any, I'll grab a few for the WOWAYers.
