Ya know, I was looking all over, but I couldn't even find a topic for this yet. I am actually going to be flying into Cleveland on the 6th for the show down there, camping near Cedar Point (and going to the park) until the 11th, then I'm driving up to Lansing for this show that afternoon. Does anyone know what this venue is like, and in fact, is anyone even going?
If anyone is, we should all hang out after (or before) the show!
The name is John, but you can call me JD! ^~^

I'll be there w/ my wife and kids. And one of my buddies from the Detroit area will be there w/ his family as well.

I'll be there but I'm confused on the Common Ground site it says the concert is at 8:30 however, the pre-sale page says 5:30... can anyone confirm the start time of the concert?
You're gonna take a walk in the rain and you're gonna get wet... I predict.

I believe the concert is at 8:30. If you look at the Common Ground FAQ (click on the INFORMATION tab), you'll find that the grounds OPEN at 5:30. I mean, it would be silly to have the show start at the same time the grounds open and have hardly anyone there.

So where's everyone wanna meet up?

Okay, I didn't see that before, I'm still going to get there around 5:30 anyways. I just wanted to make sure cause we're getting a ride from my Dad from Kalamazoo.

That's cool. We're coming in from out of town as well, we're in Tecumseh.

We would love to go, but $30 is a lot to pay and not have a for sure seat. Plus it's a work night... I hope he books more shows in southern Michigan....

Have fun! :D

I can't go, ether. Derek has school, and it's too far away. My friend Kari and her mother are going, though. I'll just wait until September. I know I'll have a seat, and I think I'll have a better chance of meeting Al afterwards. I certainly hope he does a meet and greet for this show, though. It would make my day to see a post from Kari saying she finally met Al.

:D
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?"

So awesome!
