Well, it's offical! My IRL friend Dawn and I will be going to the Meadowbrook show! Yay! My IRL friend Scott and his girlfriend Sandie will also be going! And my online friend Karen and her boyfriend Bill! Yay! Another IRL friend, Tony, and his 15-year old son Steve might also be going. He was very happy when I told him Al was playing Meadowbrook. I told him he had to take Steve with him, so he better do that! This is gonna be great! Anyone else going?

There's a high probability Anne will be going, and a small-to-medium sized probability I *may* try and make the trip with her, but that's pure speculation right now.

Did anyone see Al at Meadowbrook last year? We were in the 3rd row and we were among other great fans, so I'm wondering if any of you were those fans!

We would LOVE to see this show on Aug. 19, but we might be in China then. Any word about when tickets go on sale?

Nope, no word yet. You know I was there last year, Jody! I've mentioned that several times, in several threads! I was the one with the chocolate Als. hehe! I'm getting my tickets through a friend, so I'm pretty sure we'll have good seats again this year. I may have talked my friend Shelia into going. I hope she does! I know she'll love it! I hope you'll be able to go, Jody!

Wel, I thought I'd bump this up again, seeing as no one paid attention when I said that my IRL friend Shelia might me going to this concert with me! I think I may convert her! I had her listen to Couch Potato, Hardware store *both the vocal only version and the studio version* and Trash Day. She liked all the songs, and she also thought Al's home movies were hysterical! I hope she keeps her word, and decides to go with me! It would be fun!

I signed up for an email thingee from Meadowbrook/Palace, etc. but no AL tickets yet... Let's make sure to let each other know when they go on sale. I wish I could get the tickets I had last year. I got them through a ticket vendor (they were legal - I found them in the Yellow Pages!) and they cost a fortune! We can't spend big bucks year... And we might not even be here. So I'm hoping to buy tickets as soon as they come out, so we can get the best seats we can (and hope we'll be here!)
