Hey-

I noticed there were boards for a good deal of Al's other shows this leg of the tour, but none for this show! Is anyone going?

I've been figuring out how long it is to get to all of Al's shows as scheduled so far, and this is the closest for me. It's only 1 1/2 hour drive, which isn't horrible, but of course I'd like it to be closer to home. As of yet, no news on BTSD or time of the show, convenience charges, etc. I know WHiZZi will update ASAP, as soon as we know more.

Does anyone know anything about this theatre?

Does anyone want this topic to be discarded?

Discuss! :)

A lot of this is going on memories from over four years ago, but it's a nice, adequately sized theater. Actually, it reminded me very much of the Civic Theater in Akron. It's the kind of theater that is situated in the center of the city block right along the sidewalk, which means you're at the mercy of the surrounding parking garages.

Inside the layout retained much of its old moviehouse style. I didn't have great seats but still had a good view, so I don't know if I was just lucky or if they did a good job arranging the seats.

It's a good theater, doesn't come off as too "showy" or pompous...it's a nice place for an Al show to "breathe" in.

One and a half hours! Sheesh. None of the shows I've been to have been so close. Lately I've been having to catch a train (at least a 4 hour ride) to get to someone that I can hitch a ride to a show with....which is then another 2 hour ride usually.....

You've had to take a TRAIN?!

I wish my parents would let me take a train..I'd love to go cross country to see our boy..

I guess I was spoiled with my 45 minute Melody Fair drive....

Hopefully Al will be in the same state though..

How old are you Allie? Who did you end up going with? You didn't have to go yourself, did you??

I'm 21. I traveled up to Rossi's this summer. In April, I'm going up to Jackie's. I have to first catch the Martinsburg, WV train to Union Station in D.C. Then I have to catch a connecting train to my destination.

Works for me!

Uh, Dave?

:D

I've told my mom who Dave is, and she's seen SIS, so if she had a talk with him and stuff, she'd probably be ok with it...that's the weird part!

But obviously not being a friend of Dave's might make it awkward for him..

Staying with other people works well. At OC, I stayed with Cid and Kevin. My parents only had seen them at AlCon.

For Chicago, I stayed with Katie the night before in Missouri and then we stayed at A.J.'s in a small town near Chicago.
