I am inviting anyone who is going to the SLO Show to meet me at 1:00 in the afternoon for a tour of KCPR and the CalPoly Campus. KCPR has already been "warned" that we are coming. I am still trying to get a hold of the architecture department, but i figure we'll at least be able to see the outside of the building. Also Al's old dorm and the coffee house he used to perform in. ANYONE who wants to join us come on along!! So far there are about 8 of us going - The more the merrier!!! So 1pm at KCPR be there or be....somewhere else :biggrin:

Okay I just spoke to heather in the architecture department at SLO and she said the building will not be open on Sunday, but we are more than welcome to walk around the outside of it - well isn't that nice? :eh:

Well, that sucks.

I was really looking forward to seeing the My Bologna birthplace. Can we break in? Can't someone with a key let us in?

I've never been so disappointed to not be able to see a bathroom in my whole life.

Don't they know we're coming from all over the US to be there?? <pout mode on>

Well....there have been a few other times for me I was a little more disappointed to see a bathroom.... :lookround: but I digress.

IIRC, it seemed like "the bathroom" was in a different building from the architecture dept. Of course, what do I know. :huh:

I was under the impression that the bathroom that was used is the one at KCPR - which we will be seeing. Infact The gentleman that cinnamon spoke to at KCPR brought the bathroom up. So you will be seeing THE bathroom - the birth place of Al greatness!!

Sounds like fun-- but why so early? Scotti & I will have a good 4 hour-plus trip to get there. I guess we can make it but wow that's an early departure on a Sunday. We'll barely have time to stock up on pickled weiners and diet chocolate soda.

4 hours? Wow. Good thing I'll have good company and good music to pass the time.

I originally chose 1:00 because I was going to have to pic someone up from the bus station at 3:00, but now I don't have to . I still like it because I don't know how long it will take us to get around the campus. I want to leave plenty of time!! From what I understand KCPR is really small and we might have to go in in shifts which will eat some time - and someone is always late, so we can wait around for them with out missing out on anything. I happen to be one of the folks that always seem to be late

. You all might be waiting on me. LOL
