i chose a combination of a and c. After the polka, ill go from track 1 to the end without interruption! Howver what I will do first is listen to see if theres a hidden track at the end.

How I listen to it will depend on my work schedule. I probably won't be able to get the CD until I am on lunch at work (So be sensitive to us "late" bys as you chat that day) then I'll probably let it repeat the rest of the day at work in my CD player. Depending on how busy we are I will probably only catch snipets here and there until I can go home and unwind, eat dinner and listen to it all the way through without interuption.

I'm more of a "listen to it straight through" kind of person, probably because deep down I long for the days when an album would actually have an underlying theme throughout its songs.

As far as what I would jump to first for the second listen, most likely the polka (should there be one) or one of the originals.

I usually tend to save on overplaying the lead-off track just so I don't get sick of it after video airplay and such.

Play it straight through the first time. Then put it into my Windows Media collection. (I don't share files either.) Then burn a copy. I never listen to the originals either. They have a place of honor and only come out when I need to see the liner notes for some reason.

While I am listening I will be lovingly, but carefully, perusing the liner notes and pictures. I will probably read the thankyou part first, then the lyrics...

And drooling over the pictures while Al and TBITB serenade me.

Is it May yet???

Probably A first. Anyone interrupting me will be shot. Then I will listen for a second time, reading the lyrics with them. Then, while listening for a 3rd time, I will go for the internet to see other peoples reactions.

I plan to be at Best Buy before the store opens. :)

I gotta go with B here. I usually do that with all CDs I get. I just feel the need to hear ALL the songs within a few seconds. Then I'd listen to it straitforward, and decide which tracks to put on my personal "Best of Al" CD(s).

working in a store that sells music has its advantages, such as being able to get at the track listing on the 16th and being able to buy it the night before. Then I shall listen all the way through, on the 19th :D

In this case, I'm fortunate to have an hour commute into work...

So, my answer is (kind of) A.

I'll end up buying the album on my lunch break, then cranking it in the car on the way home.

A. It's just a tradition with my Al CDs. The first time around, I listen to it completely, then play a few favorites over and over. When RWS first came out I listened to at least one song from it for 3 months :lookround:

Mike, raise your right hand and repeat after me:

I (insert your name here) promise not to divulge anything about Poodle Hat and ruin the fun for all my WOWAY friends. If I do, may I be sentenced to listen to Coolio for 27 days. And may herds of starving crazed weasels take up permanent residence in my underwear drawer.
