Altube 2.0

Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

Don't forget the Johnny Carson appearance from around the same time.

Holy crap! It's the much-mentioned but rarely-seen 1984 clip of Al on The Merv Griffin Show!

They were all so CUTE! Also, if you keep posting these early videos, we will have to open up a Drooling Over Steve topic.

That was awesome! Surprisingly good quality; usually when I see "1984" and "TV" in the same video title I assume it's going to look like a video tape that's been around the block a few times...
I've Seen Weird Al In Person:
8/26/08, 5/22/10, 7/15/10, 7/16/10, 7/17/10, 11/5/10, 9/22/11, 9/24/11, 9/25/11, 4/30/12

Well, the uploader is the official "Merv GriffinShow" YouTube page.

Pretty cool clip. I like that Merv credited Al with bringing about the revival of Jeopardy.

That was a pretty neat find. Now, if the MervGriffinShow YouTube account would put up his performance of "The Brady Bunch"...

Possibly a repost here but I have never come across this video before: Look for a short clip of Al at 3:40 interviewing someone.

i just finished putting together a very near complete copy of ALTV #1 (4/1/1984) on youtube,
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... e=view_all

EDIT: Watching the videos continuously DOES NOT WORK! (after watching Talking Heads - Once in a Lifetime, it will just go to the last segment of Part 1 / 3 for the ALTV stuff, however it does work in the right order when you skip a music video rather than watching it right to the end) I dont see why it does that.

I did something similar to this about a year ago, but this time youtube let me set the time of when the video changes and comes back, so you can watch the whole thing just like it aired on TV, but this time the music videos are in much better quality.

the only 3 videos missing from the 3 hours of video are Marshall Crenshaw "Whenever your on my mind" , Herbie Hancock "Rockit" and ZZ Top "Sharp Dressed Man" those videos simply cannot be uploaded or viewed on youtube because of strict copyright. 100% of Als content is here, the I Love Rocky road video is cut into 2 videos because of copyright (VEVO will not let us view it here in the US)

this is for anyone out there who wants to see this with all the cool music videos and doesn't want to have to deal with crappy low VHS quality.
