WOWAY 10 years : Memories

I lurked on WOWAY for the better part of 2005 until the temptation of the Straight Outta Lynwood spoiler topic proved too much in early 2006. I really got into posting with the start of the 2007 tour season, and met many fine WOWAY East Coasters during the summers of 07, 08, 10, and 11. In 09, I traveled over 2,700 miles for the fabulous time that was Al Fest which never would have happened without WOWAY and saw so many of you awesome people. I thank all the members who provided the photos and inspiration for my ink (you know who you are) and I want everyone on here to know that my Al tattoo represents my appreciation of this community as much as it does me being an Al fan.

Favorite WOWAY memories:
* When Greg Method (catradhtem) directed me to Melt Bar & Grilled.
* anthontherun mentioned the Whatever Your Like Anticipation thread. This kept many of us forum members awake for 2 days straight.
* The Al Fest planning topic.

*When I found out Albuquerque was cut in 2010 from the set list topic.

Gosh, I remember joining this forum.... way back in July of this year

I check this forum every day, numerous times a day. It's an incredible resource on all things Al, and it's filled with all these amazing people!!! I first found it when I was searching for a video of Al on Rove Live (the topic for that here on WOWAY came up in my Google results). My greatest memory on this forum... finding the Drooling Over Al topic hehe

One of my favorite WOWAY memories was hosting the WOWAY Awards a couple years ago. (Speaking of which, we are well past due for another one.) Another would be all of the fun debates with Bruce the Duck (the old school ones we had on here, before they got taken elsewhere).

yeah...I remember those quite vividly (the former made me look like a real charming fellow, I'm sure) and I'd *definitely* say they're my "favorite" (if not only) WOWAY "memories"...thanks for bringing those up again, Jon and other poster...

Wow-Happy Anniversary WOWAY! I don't post a lot, but I certainly enjoy reading! I just looked at my profile to see when I joined, and my 10 year anniversary was yesterday! Keep up the good work everyone!
