 I forgot about that. That definitely was the ultimate pick-up line.
I bet you've never seen a skirt steak worn this way.

Yeah, he added a -side.

And changed the preposition a little.

RE: the turd

To me the humor in that line isnt' that the guy says turd, but the notion that the guy actually thinks he's being romantic by comparing her to a sunset while including a the word turd and is too oblivious to realize that's not how it comes accross to a woman. The image of a turd supercedes the sunset.

Okay actually I can see that. The fact that he's mentioning a turd in an otherwise romantic love song is another example of not knowing what love is, na na na na na na, I guess I don't know.

That's a good point. I didn't see it that way before.

About once a week I have to email my boss back with the subject "RE: the turd."

Then again, if you people think you`ve heard too much toilet humor in only one song... there`s a singer in my province. He sings comedy, but it`s always over heavy metal. And his songs go way far beyond what censors would accept. In fact, I think he even goes further into filthy language than any American band I know. One of his songs (4 minutes long) is about the delight of finally getting rid of that dang weight (keep thinking it`s toilet humor...).
I skip on his other songs of greatly debatable taste. But I doubt anyone can really go farther than he does in terms of censor destruction. Compared to him, ITIL is a tender love ballad, and Weird Al is singing cleaner than clean.
"So I went in my garaage, got in my care
And I drived, talking with my blue teeth
My boyfreind told me don't cree
Come to my houss, don't worraye,
we'll talk about this togeedurr."

I understand why he uses toilet humor - there are seven year old boys that listen to his music.

Or maybe just because he's not some stuck up prude who thinks "toilet humor" is somehow beneath him. This whole topic is so ridiculous.
