Could Al make an appearance on Family Guy?

Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

Al probably wouldn't want to do a song on Family Guy, because of cuss words and other words I can't say in mixed company.....

:D
I'm simple like this, just as simple can be.

On The Weird Al Show DVD commentary it was mentioned that Seth Macfarlane originally pitched the idea of Family Guy to Al to be the cartoon segment on the show. He turned him down because obviously the adult content of the segment would not blend well at all with a educational morning show for children. I don't know if that has lead to any sort of harsh feelings between the two, but I guess my final response is, nah.
And the winner of the Al-TV "One Night Stand" is.... nah.

I doubt there's really any harsh feelings about it from Seth's end. I'm sure he understood that with CBS's guidelines of an educational show, they probably wouldn't like a cartoon about a baby trying to kill his mother. Plus, if it was on there and Al's show got cancelled (which it did), he'd have a hell of a time trying to pitch the show to other networks as CBS would've possibly owned the rights. And he wouldn't have made the millions and millions of dollars from it in the process.

Plus, he doesn't seem too mad at the South Park writers after their "Cartoon Wars" episodes, necessarily saying the writers of Family Guy are nothing more than braindead manatees who come up with jokes by placing random balls with words on them in an odd order to make a joke. IE: Gary Coleman+pineapples+Gilligan's Island+Batman= Gary Coleman wants pineapple upside down cake, lands on Gilligan's Island and is saved by Batman or some such stupid joke they usually do.

I am a fan of Family Guy to an extent but it's entirely overrated and I prefer South Park. But that's a different discussion entirely. In essence, Al could at some point do some kind of appearance with Family Guy. It'd just be up to the writers to write in an appearance or some such cameo.

The feeling I got from the story was Seth showed him the initial FG work as an "Oh yeah! Check these out!" on the way out the door.
Brandon has gotten so big......
