According to a member who claims to have heard Al's soundcheck tonight, there will be a parody of "Party In The USA" on the tour which starts tomorrow night. Apparently, this song may be about beer, or possibly just mention it in passing. If these allegations are true, this is a major scoop.

I am guessing that this song will be "about" beer the same way A Complicated Song was "about" pizza. Just an incidental part of a story that allows Al to reach the punchline of the parody.

On that note (TMBJon's), I hope it isn't lyrically like "A Complicated Song."
I will say I don't think it's actually about beer. We know Al sometimes just writes about it to make a funny situation. ("Twine Ball" for example.)

I'm thinking I'm glad you posted the Miley video in the other thread for me. Least I now know the original version.
I doubt Al would do a full song about beer, but hey, I like beer so it works out.

True. And he could do a whole song about beer. I wouldn't be offended. But seeing as he does get played on Radio Disney some uppity parents might be.

Disney is VERY protective of their image. They wouldn't have approved this parody if they thought parents would get uppity over it. At least I don't think they would.
