Last night I fired off an email to Bermuda asking him if he had any inside scoop on the ALbum release that he could share.

Well, you get points for trying.

If I had to guess, I'd think they'd be trying to get it out in time for the Christmas shopping season. Which is ROTTEN touring weather. Of course they have toured in winter and early spring before, but reading between the lines of concert reviews posted by luckier people than us, it sounds like sometimes it might have been a bit of an ordeal.

Maybe they'll wait and release it in time for the Arbor Day shopping season. Market it to the Druids.

Or Ground Hog's Day? Didn't Al say it was his favorite holiday, or am I imaginging it?

Yeah, I am hoping for CHristmas/CHanukkah! A song about the devastating effects of Leprosy just screams to be released during the Holidays. At least in Weird Al's universe it does.

And I really don't want Al and the Band out on the bus during winter driving conditions. I want to see him, but it can wait til it's safer to drive.

Well, usually during winter time Al isn't on tour. He takes a nice Christmas break from touring.

I'd feel bad if Al got stuck in a snowstorm out here. Though, snow storms can happen any time from fall to late spring here...

It all depends.

I would feel bad if something worse happened...

Congratulations to you (individually) on the cookie, and to you (as a group) on the shirt. How did the Stupid Group :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: ever FIND a shirt with accordions on it anyway?

Let's just say we have luck. ;)

Okay, or luck with a lot of hyper fans drooling over how pretty it was and determined Al needed that shirt.

But then again, I think DebBob should tell the complete story of it here if she wants to. :)

Or else join STUPID cause we're telling the story there now. :)

New pics and fan art at weirdal.com

http://www.weirdal.com/111599.htm Man, is that close quarters. For a year and a half... Wow, what the boys do for us!

Or you could say it's close quarters... for nearly twenty years. And you can tell by the looks on their faces how thrilled they all still are to be in one another's company. :lookround:

(well, actually, I'm not going to infer anything from the looks on the faces of a bunch of musicians who all have SAG cards in their pocketses-- the fact that they were still on that bus is much more informative)

SAG cards

Screen Actor's Guild? Great... more surfing to do. And I had hoped to go to bed early tonight :sigh:

The SAG doesn't allow a search of their membership unless you are also a member. Anyone on the list able to sign up and check this out?
