There's no such thing as a "Jewish name."

"David ben Gurion" wasn't a Jewish name?

No. It's not. Technically, it's considered a Hebrew name, but not a Jewish name. Hebrew is a language. Judaism is a religion. Two very different things. "David ben Gurion" is simply Hebrew for "David, son of Gurion." But even then, it's the Hebrew form of the name, just as Miguel is the Spanish form of Michael.

But no, there ARE NO "Jewish" names, just as there are no Catholic or Muslim names. There are English, Roman, even Arabic names. But those are nationalities, not religions.

but I don't know what posessed my parents to name me Aron. We're not religious at all, so I can only wonder.
