What about Al's favorite boy band, the Beatles?

I like the Beatles. Not everyone does, but I do. They've done some funny songs. Or, at least songs with a bit of whimsy, like Octopus's Garden. Good call, anth.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?"

So awesome!

Nevermind.

Well maybe I shouldn't have said that. I should keep that to myself.

Or how about Al's 5 favorite rappers of all time:

1. Vanilla Ice
2. Gerardo
3 and 4. Those two guys from Milli Vanilli
5. Snoop Dogg

Another band fans of Weird Al might like is R.E.M. They are a lot more serious then Al, but they have lots of happy bouncy music. Frank's 2000" TV is a tribute to them.

I was just thinking of R.E.M. They are very serious, but they do have a great sense of humor. Some of their videos are pretty humorous.

Oh my gosh, how did I forget...

FRANK ZAPPA!

The late Frank Zappa was a music rebel before music rebels were cool. Although he would rather have you remember him ofr his serious songs, he had a great sense of humor and wrote some very humorous (and sometimes disgusting) songs. His work really shines through Al, esepcially in songs like Albuquerque and Genius In France.

A note: Luke Ski dissed PH in a live chat sometime. <_< He did also write Quite A Man (For an Al Fan), but I don't know whether that was a tribute or an insult.

Tony Goldmark doesn't like Bobbi either, as you would have seen in the #dementia chatroom on the Sunday of the Nick and Mary tribute show.
