I just put Party In A Leper Colony on my computer and I found that theres a sound at the begining. (please dont warn me WhiZZi or Bermuda I'm still going to buy the CD)

I downloaded a few more songs and the small sound is the same. My conclusion is that the songs are bogus.

A Complicated Song - 3:48

Being a fan of Avril Lavigne, I have the song "Complicated" (Time: 4:07) on my computer. Well that track is a near hit on the time for "A Complicated Song". And since Al likes to speed up his songs, I think that "A Complicated Song" would be a parody of "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne! :lookround:

I GOT THE SONGS TO WORK!!!

Postby JDTurnbull272 » Sat May 03, 2003 9:58 pm

I actually do now beleive that those songs are all in fact by Weird Al! After hours of boring time spent on my computer trying to convert the songs to a different format, all failed. I changed the programs it was opened with and much much more. I finally gave burning it onto a CD. There is about 6 or 7 seconds of music for each song, but then it ended. The playing time said 3:27 seconds, 9: 50... but it would only play for 6 to 7 seconds. It might be the encrypted thing we were told about. I will keep trying, but till then, DON'T waste your CD's(unless you really want to... :sleepy: ) trying to get them to work...
Just thought I'd tell you all! :)

I'm not saying anything - all the theories are very entertaining!

You'll soon know with certainty what's on the album...

LOL ... good for you, Jon!
Kids, be like Bermuda -- don't give in to peer pressure!!
17 days till we ALL know!!

[can just picture AL and TBITB reading these over Bermuda's shoulder and laughing their respective tuchuses [tuchi??] off .... ]

I have absolutely no idea what Genius in France means though, and it drives me crazy. AAARGH!!!!

If it's a real song [and I have no idea or inclination that it is], then I knew the subject matter immediately. It's a song about Jerry Lewis, who's been almost deified in that country [another reason to hate the French ...]. Jerry has not been in the news lately [except for suffering from intractable back pain, and giving up on hosting his Labor Day MS Telethon], so this seems like a bit of a stretch for a song. However, we know Al and TBITB are familiar with Lewis -- the 'La-La-La, nice lady!!" segment in the "Yoda Chant" is definitely a Jerry Lewis reference ...

Also, another possible subject for the song could be David Hasselhoff, since "Baywatch" is something like the number one show in Europe for 10 years or whatever ... but IIRC, Hasselhoff's bigger in Germany than he is in France. [Yep, every time he crosses the border from France into Germany, he gains 15 pounds :P ... nyuk, nyuk. nyuk ...]

I'm with you, Dr. Dad! I'm not going to believe anything until I have that cd in my hot little hand! 17 days isn't really all that long to wait, is it? I hope Bermuda, and Al *if he ever reads this forum* are having a hearty laugh, too! :)

Dr, Dad, I finally figured out what TBITB means! I wonder if anyone else was wondering. In case anyone doesn't know, it's "The Boys in the Band". *of course, everyone else is probably saying "No duh, Patti! Where have you been?" Ah, well! Jerry Lewis, huh? I think you're right, it's a bit of a stretch. hehe! I love all these theories!
