:offtopic:

The cover looks like any other book for small children (although the cover is quite detailed). I'll have to take a look it at when it comes out.
We're gonna yodel like it's 1999!

the fact this image is posted nine months before it comes out makes me nervous given that we haven't seen a cover pic for the new album.

Thanks for posting that link, crazygurl14!
So now that we can see the cover and four 2-page spreads, what do you all think?
I think the rhyming is clever and funny, and the illustrations are cute!

I'm not sure who I'll give it to yet, but I'll definitely buy at least one copy of this book!

SPOILER ALERT: On that site, you can see four spreads from the book. From what I've seen, it's really cute!

Looking at the HC link, this book is going to be awesome! Reminds me of Shel Silverstein, since it's a pretty typical "silly" rhyme book... but Al's unique creativity is definitely in there, too.

From what I saw, it's better than cute. Cute is a cliche that should be avoided at all times. Both the writing and illustrations show great talent and creativity.

I don't even know any children under 8, so I'll have to get it for myself. :D
