Weird Al Related Dreams 3.0

Last night I had a dream that Al was dancing around with one of those Chinese yoyo things on a stage, to some pop song. (I can't remember the song now, but it was stuck in my head when I woke up.) It was "classic Al" on the stage, but modern Al was watching himself from the audience. Sometime during the dance, classic Al got himself all tangled up in the yoyo string but got out of it with some crazy gymnastics move. It was weird.

There is a thread similar to this on the saturday-night-live.com forums where I regulrarly post more often than here. The person that started the thread originally posted something like "Do you have dreams of being on SNL or just have dreams about SNL that you would care to share?" Most of us posted our dreams ABOUT seeing bizarre and strange bits of SNL sketches and some dreams where we were in the SNL cast during certain periods. I posted something that was both tangentially Weird Al related and tangentially SNL related at the same time. For some strange reason, I am also compelled to post it here. I mentioned that I remember once having a dream where I watched part of an SNL episode with Miley Cyrus pulling double duty as both host AND musical guest (that's not even the worst part...bear with me here, folks) and she was performing the truth or dare version of Like A Surgeon (wearing green hospital scrubs and everything) in the slot where her monolouge was supposed to be. Then, our old friend TheLazenby (remember him?) who also posts there o more often than here it seems posted this...

Miley Cyrus + live version of "Like A Surgeon" = UNBEARABLE HOTNESS. Er, not really. Anyway...

yikes...Anyway, this was followed by his recanting of some dream he had where David Spade quit SNL in 1994...on air...in the middle of a sketch...before going on an "obscenity filled tirade live on the air" over how awful the show had gotten by that point...then, "an appalingly sexist sketch about thongs" and that turned into a Doctor Who related dream...

I had a dream last night that I was at one of his concerts and the venue was really small. I was taking pictures with my camera and I guess I took some video too and i went to delete it but it started playing back and it was really loud and Al heard it and said that it was inturrupting the show and he came off the stage and took my cell phone. And I was so excited and I turned to whoever was sitting next to me and said weird al yankovic just stole my phone! .... Then.
I woke up and was real excited then fell back to sleep.

Alright I had a dream last night,
I was sitting in a stairwell with a tripod and waiting intensly for someone to open the door so the tripod legs would kick out and suprise the person. The door flung open and Weird Al was suprised so much by the tripod legs that he jumped up and yelled, "HALLELUYA! CHRIST IS BORN AGAIN!" and he kicked me in the face, myself being super suprised jumped up and started singing, "This appeared as a moral dillema, cause' at first it was weird though I swore to eliminate the worst of the plague that divoured humanity it's true I was vague on the how, so how can it be that you have shown me the light? It's a brand new day-" in this part on the song I was interupted by a high pitched humming noise, Al was firing up his death ray, and just when he was about to shoot-

I had a dream last night that i got last minute tickets to one of the concerts and they were really bad seats in the very last row of the place but some front row seats opened up and someone let me and whoever i was with go up to the seats which were in the very front row. After the concert i went back stage and Al all the sudden got some crazy sickness and he had to eat something that looked like rocks but he said it was meat and he was freaking out that he had to eat it... Something else was about to happen but i woke up... Very weird

I had two different daydreams yesterday involving Al. The first occured because the song "Rock and Roll" as sung by yours truly, was running through my head, most likely because I was thinking back to band practice last week. Then, the image of me singing that song with my band Problem Child at AJ's entered my brain. Al and Chris Hardwick were sitting at a table right by the stage. They were mesmerized by me! hehe! After I finished singing, I asked the band to play "Crossroads" which does not require my singing so I could talk to them. They both thought I was great! LOL!

The other daydream invloved me being at a concert, and Al calling me up onstage. We sang "You Don't Take Your Showers" as a duet. LOL!

Yeah, that would be so epic!

I have had a few weird dreams relating to Al a few weeks ago. The first one was where I was in an old building of some kind. My brother was on stage playing a wooden accordion somehow, where the buttons were on the wrong side, and there were only about eight of them. I climbed up on stage with him and took the accordion from his hands. Then an audience came out of no where and started cheering and clapping. I started to play Another One Rides the Bus. Then I heard Al clapping and I saw him appear in the audience. I woke up.
My second dream was I was running through some kind of forest away from something that was chasing me. Then an accordion appeared in my hands. I was still running with it. Next I saw my hair get longer, browner, and a lot curlier. I looked down in my dream and saw that I was wearing a hawaiian shirt. I'm guessing I turned into Al in my dream. After that i woke up.
My third dream was very cool. I dreamt that I was at a concert in the first row. It was outside. Music was playing, but I don't know what song it was. Once that was over, classic Al walked off stage. He just stood there. After that Al in his Like a Surgeon costume walked off stage and stood next to classic Al. I looked in the audience to see my brother and grandparents appeared out of no where. Classic Al got on stage and threw a white and nerdy t shirt at my brother. Suddenly WBUL started playing. The Like a Surgeon Al and Classic Al dissapear. Al in the WBUL outfit started to walk over to me , singing. Then I woke up.
My forth dream was really short. I was at a concert, and the lights were dark. Al was standing by me, talking, and wearing the hawaiian shirt that I wore during my first concert. Right after that I woke up.

So far, I've had about five dreams where I go see Al in concert. All of them end up in tragedy somehow. There was one where I got there half way through the concert, and then after went backstage for a meet and greet but got there just as he and the band were leaving. In another one, I got stuck in traffic and never made it to the concert. There was another one where I was waiting for a concert but a giant monster with eyes in the shape of Chinese characters scared the crap out of me and I never saw the concert (seriously). In another dream, I went to a concert but Al wasn't there, and a bunch of people just started throwing violin sticks at me. There was a fifth which I cannot remember.

Okay, dream I had last night:

Al had come to my school to perform a song that was going to be on the 13th Album, and the song was basically a purposely terrible cover of some song, kind of similar to the way You Light Up My Life (Punk Version) is. You could also see that Al was lip syncing, and was doing it horribly, but I think this was to add to the effect of it being terrible.

So far, I've had about five dreams where I go see Al in concert. All of them end up in tragedy somehow. No way! I've had dreams like that, too.

Most depressing kind of dream you could have. I think I've had more than one like that. I had this one dream a long time ago where I was getting ready to go to an Al concert but had absolutely nothing to wear except for my pajamas. When I finally found something to wear, I left for the show but ended up being late and missed it.
However, in reality, if I were ever in that situation, I would most likely just go in my pajamas. haha
