The leather pants do tend to get one's attention . . .mmhmm. . . but eventually I'm drawn back to Al looking like Al. With that irresistible hair.

Eh, the wig makes his hair look more like Jim Morrison's, though. It's not great, but not horrid. Better than the Taylor Hicks wig. I like the poet shirt and the pants. Same pants I talked about on the phone with Al. Ah, yes..that was fun.

I think that was a couple years ago, when Al would occasionally tweet a public payphone # when he was at the airport. Fans who were lucky enough to get through got to chat with him for a minute or so.
I never saw the tweets until it was too late, but some forum members did get through.

Yes, back in 2010, before the summer tour in support of Internet Leaks, Al tweeted a phone number to a phone booth at LAX, and said he'd be there for a bit, and to call. I did, I got through, and we talked. I told him I'd see him at Meadowbrook on July 3rd, and that I'd be bringing cookies (wound up bringing chocolates, but, w/e) He said, "I think the diet's over, and I can eat cookies now. As long as I can fit into the Craigslist pants, I'm good." hehe! I used to have the first part of our conversation as my signature. I think it went something like:

Al: Hello?
Me: Hi, Al, it's Patti
Al: Hi, Patti!
Me: I'm the one who makes the cookies
Al: Oh, PATTI, Patti. Hi, how are you doing?
