Even if it had been a date conflict, I can't imagine that the nice guy who books these musicians into the Manhattan Beach Library's performances to play for FREE wouldn't have happily rescheduled Jim to a more convenient date if the library gig conflicted with Jim's paid employment. Play for 20 people for free or play for 2,000 people for an unspecified but presumably worthwhile sum of money... hmmm, tough call.

ok so if anyone who is goin is interested in a baseball game, the detroit tigers will be playing the chicago white sox at 4p the same day, good thing is the ball park is DIRECTLY across the street from the theater, i mean walk across the street, walk thru a parking lot, enter ball park, so you could basically see the whole game if it doesnt go into extra innings, just head down the the front gate at the middle of the 9th and get out b4 the others

I think Martin was referring to what I also saw on weirdal.com -

http://tickets.weirdal.com/index.cfm/pk ... /pid/10784

I guess it's just tickets available through The Mothership...

Hello -- new to the forum but long time fan. I was just wondering if there are any other Michiganers (besides algonacchick) going or who want to go.

It turns out I'm not going to be able to make it to this show. :( As a result, I have two extra tickets, sixth row, center. PM me if you're interested.
