PS: congrats again on your seats, trixie! lol. how many Al concerts have you been to so far? if i can get a seat at orch9, i'll be close to you guys, cuz you're stage7, right?

You might have better luck calling Turning Stone to get your tickets but you can all so what's going on at ticketmaster. Check the Turning Stone web site for the phone # or PM me and I'll give you the information. And hopefully you will still be able to come.

The Turning Stone concert will be our third concert altogether!
Hopefully your luck will still hold out that not too many people have heard!

ticket status: seat 8 for orch table 9 has been bought.

woah, somehow when all these arbitrary extra costs get added on to get the ticket from online it adds up to 10 dollars more. huh. forget that. i'll order by phone (like you said, weirdstef, lol)! it's expensive as it is!

and now i'm also waiting to see what's gonna happen with the concert at the westbury fair... those tickets don't go on sale until sunday, so i won't know how much it costs until then. but wouldn't it be awesome if i could convince my parents to let me see two al concerts in a matter of three days?!? the chances are probably very slim though... ;( maybe we wouldn't have to stay overnight for that one though.

okay, this is really hard, cuz these two topics are overlapping for me. lol.

and now my dad's bugging me to go to bed, so i'd better listen if i wanna go see Al at all!

ticket sales still holding... best current seat available: orch9 seat #9.

my mom just got home! hopefully i'll get official approval from the parental units tonight!!! :D

*Jessi*

PS: do you think it'd be better to have the 9th seat at table 9 or a closer seat at table 10? anyone know the approximate places of everyone on stage?

I'm not sure how to explain this without showing you the seating chart that is on the Turning Stone web site. You might want to go there and print out a copy before you call about the tickets. But from what I'm looking at if you get the first seats at orchestra #10 you will be closer to the stage but off to the left looking at the stage and you will be diagonal to where I'm sitting instead of right behind me at orchestra #9 which will bring you 5 chairs down from the first chair on that table. I hope this helps and I hope we get to see you there.

i see what you're saying trixie.

unfortunately, i'm not attending this concert... my parents made me choose between the two: this one and the one closer to us in westbury a couple days before (july 8th). plus, they were complaining about how i was "dragging" them into the concert since it'd be an overnight thing and about how the car could break down, blah blah blah. (we have two used cars: a crappy one, and an even crappier one. lol. the crappy one is the newer one and it WAS a good car 'til we took it on a long vacation last summer and had to have a lot of work done on it.)

ANYWAY... bottom line, i won't get to see you guys there july 10th. ;( i was really looking forward to it, too. especially since we hardly ever get to go anywhere (with the exception of last summer's odyssey, we never go on vacation.)

so... have a great time guys! and tell Al i tried my best! :Y lol.

as it was, the ticket for westbury somehow went from being $45 to $60 once all the stupid "convenience charges" were added on... even when you do it by phone!! the only way to avoid the charges is to literally go right up to their box office and buy it there. i'm assuming it was the same for the tickets for verona? and if those started out as $55, i'd be frighted to hear their final price. sheesh. what a world we live in. think they can tax everything. =P

ok, i believe that's enough... later, guys!

*Jessi*

PS - 4 more seats have sold - best available now is orch9 seat 13. in essence, 11th row. as compared to seat 1 at orch 10 which would, in essence, be 5th row. that's what you're saying, right trixie? anyway, i'm off! bye again, lol

I just might be able to go to this show. It'll take 3 hours to get up there, but I might be able to go. And i'll take "maybe" over "can't" any day.

Sorry :( you are not able to come to this show Jessi but glad you are able to go the other one. And I didn't have to pay any ser charge or taxes when I bought my tickets so I paid $110 for my ticket and my son's and they are holding the tickets at the box office so if I want to I can pick them up before the concert or I can wait until that night and get them an hour before. And I understand about the car even though it's not a great one it probably could be better if a good mechanic worked on it before and now.

Well I hope a few others will be able to go!
