I just wanted to throw out this FYI to everyone waiting for a New York state show.

Ticketmaster is listing a show on July 10 at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona. Weirdal.com has not confirmed this on the tour page yet, so take that for whatever that means.

The reason I bring it up is because tickets are scheduled to go on sale TOMORROW (April 17), and I'd hate to see someone on here miss out on tickets in case this will happen.

I will put up a link to the Ticketmaster page on the Tourography, along with a disclaimer that the show is unconfirmed.

July 10? That doesn't give Al much time off. Normally, that would make me happy, but not at the moment. I've been kind of looking forward to his being able to get off the bus and go home for a while.

That will be cool if Al is coming to the Turning Stone again then it means we can go again this year. And I was looking on their web site and they are advertising it there.

Bobbi, he gets a little over 2 months between the last show in this stretch on May 2nd and this possible new one on July 10. I think that's pretty good.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?"

So awesome!

It's 3 hours. Should I bother mentioning it to the parentals?

Besides, if tix go on sale tomorrow, we're leaving to go to the ERIE show!

:(

I have the same problem I'm leaving tomorrow to go to Foxwoods. But TurningStone is only 1/2 hour away from us so I can't wait.

hey guys. i don't really feel like talking to anyone right now cuz i'm bummed beyond words that i wasn't able to go to the concert at Foxwoods. (1 hour, 17 minutes 'til show time :( ) my dad finally said last night that he would drive me so then i call the casino and the one ticket that was still left the night before was gone.

but i'd rather not get into that.

so now i'm going to run this show by my dad since it'll be summer vacation by then and my mom won't (hopefully) be in texas. (she is now, which made trying to go to foxwoods extremely difficult cuz there'd be no one to stay with my 13 year old brother.)

the thing is, it's four hours away from here... and the show's at 8, so it'll go 'til about 9:30ish, so say we were to leave around 10, we wouldn't get home 'til around 2am. and i dunno if i could convince one of my parents to stay in NY overnight. i'll have to work extra hard on this one.

and the tickets had better not go as fast as they did for foxwoods!

i need some serious cheering up right now...

well, that's all for the time being. talk to you guys later

Well the tickets are already on sale and I got 2 for me and my son. And I can tell you they do go fast like Foxwoods so you better get talking. I can't wait this time we will be right up front next to the stage. We are at Table 7 which is center with the 2 seats next to the stage. I call the box office again this time and I could believe it when she said that is where she could put us. This is a great birthday present myself and my son since our birthdays are around that time.

weirdstef, are you at stage table 7 or orchestra table 7?

the best seats available as of now (i chose to search for 5 tickets, i have no idea how many ppl i'd have come w/ me) are orchestra table 9, seats 6 to 10. and yesterday, it was the same table for seats 1 to 5. hopefully, if i bring this up today, my dad can talk it over w/ my mom on the phone (assuming she calls again tonight - she's been calling pretty much every night since she's been in texas) and then i've gotta figure out who i'd want to come with me.
