This is probably kinda in bad taste to bring up, but the whole Ray Rice controversy might help Al's chances of getting this gig (especially if Goodell has to resign). They need to book a very family friendly act, and last year Bruno Mars was announced as the headliner on September 8 so they may be making a decision soon...

Knowing Roger Goodell, he'll probably pick Chris Brown.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Weird. I was just thinking while watching football earlier tonight if this would finally be the year.

I mean... due to the large popularity of the petition this year, it's not out of the question that Al could show up on stage next to Perry and parody what she just sang.

Right? Riiiight???

If Al did the superbowl, I would actually watch halftime.

Most half-time shows are absolutely unbearable. Weird Al is like the Three Stooges; he can be enjoyed by all generations.
