Do they have a new album planned between now and the end of the year?

Wait, aren't we supposed to see different songs in the polka every night? Or did I hear that wrong...

Jon, someone said in their review that one of the band members said they're going to try to get it out by then.

Jace, I think that was an idea someone here had? So just a rumor.

I meant the Kings of Leon, specifically referencing the fact that Al wants an album out by Christmas.

I was thinking later album parody.

Though I wouldn't be shocked if their label's pressuring them for a new album.

I realized after I wrote the tweet I should have had punctuation. New polka. New songs every night. Same polka, different setlist

Seriously?
That's right, I forgot: nobody's allowed to make ANY requests on principle anymore, or consider anyone's needs but their own. Every fan for himself at all times, right?

Just because I don't use handicapped parking doesn't mean I wouldn't want it there...

From what I've heard, Kings Of Leon have begun soundchecking lots of new songs, but I don't think they've made much progress in the studio at this point, so if Al's going to take them on, it looks like it'll be in the form of a parody. This makes me think he's not going to touch them at all though; I think a Kings Of Leon parody would be great, but they have a tendency to not use a whole lot of words in their songs. So unless Al has a really good idea, I can't imagine he'd go after a song that, for all practical purposes, has almost no lyrics.

I definitely agree that it looks like there's a method to Al's madness regarding the list of songs in the new polka medley. However, it saddens me that this is the first medley in which I'm not familiar with all of the included songs (there are three towards the end that have eluded me entirely). I've finally slipped to the other side of the pop culture curve! Oh, the shame!

Wouldn't it be cool if they randomly rotated the Polkas?

Happens to all of us. I've been unfamiliar with the polka originals since... oh... Polkas on 45?
