Wow you liked Fireflies? It is really really catchy. But it gets so annoying after a while (or after your friend's brother has it as his ringtone and his phone keeps ringing and ringing and ringing at seven in the morning).

Did you guys know that the dude from Owl City claims he's never even listened to the Postal Service?

The one glaring omission on this list is Taylor Swift. Wonder if she turned the idea down?

Or a parody. Though I'm hoping with all the pop rounded up in the polka, there's a big rock parody or two (as well as WYL and the alleged Party parody)

I don't want to be "that WOWAYer", but I'm kinda disappointed with no rock in the polka. I do like the choices, although there's a few I'm not immediately familiar with.

I guess if the title is indeed Polka Face (And who could see that coming besides everybody?), he wanted to go for more of a pop theme.

I just listened to all of the polka songs that I didn't immediately recognize and pretty much figured out what parts of each song he is probably doing in the polka. Lots of hilarious potential. The only song I am just totally unfamiliar with is IYAZ "Replay." Listened to it and never heard it before. The others I range from knowing extremely well to knew it but never knew the name or artist. Sometimes if my iPhone runs out of batteries I put on the LA hip hop station and jam out to "Baby are you down down down down?" I bet Al listened to Power 106 when he was choosing songs for this polka.

I agree that the amount of rock songs in this polka is a bit underwhelming, but I'm hoping it's part of the greater good when it comes to the parody material. That being said, I'm a little surprised that Kings Of Leon went under the radar for this polka medley. I don't think any of their songs have enough lyrics to make for a great parody, but they were inescapable last year, and I could definitely imagine Al belting out the chorus to "Sex On Fire".
