Eithne, those are some great pics! And welcome to the group!

I wish I had some pics from last night's show to share but Carowinds didn't allow cameras. And get this--I overheard a security guard tell the girl in front of me that Al had requested there be no cameras, that Carowinds didn't really mind. I guess he forgot about the big plaque at the entrance that said "No cameras allowed" on it. Yet another example of security passing the buck onto Al because they don't want to deal with fans who might not agree with a venue's policy.

I will say that I got to see a lot of hip-swiveling and gyrating by Al at the concert last night which was very drool-worthy indeed! :9~

Nice pics! Thanks so much for sharing. Yeah, he does lots of nice hip-swiveling on this tour, doesn't he? Eye candy! :9~

Psst, technically, Al's a vegetarian. A wise woman on this board once said "He's a vegetarian pretending to be a vegan." She said he cheats..a lot!

LOL!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?"

So awesome!

Well, I don't think he ever came out and said he was a vegan, though it does say so on the tour rider. Probably just quality control with tour foods. He does admit to eating the occasional pizza with the guys. Of course, his is veggie, but there's that cheese factor. LOL!

Yeah, all the time, fans will give him things with chocolate (cough cough Patti's treats cough cough) or other things that a normal vegan wouldn't eat, but Al eats them, and apparently he loves his grilled cheese sandwiches. :)

I put this in my review but I wanted to put it here too--I got to have a brief "staring contest" with Al during "Albuquerque". After the "I had my tray table up/And my seatback in the full upright position" chorus, instead of the laugh, he came to edge of the stage, leaned forward a little and stared at me for about 3 to 5 seconds. Of course, l leaned forward on the chair in front of me (the folks in the first row left before the encore) and stared back! Hey, I may not win but I certainly won't back down from a staring challenge! This is the second concert in a row where he's singled me out for that "wild-eyed" stare he does, the first being the very end of WBUL at Glen Allen. Thankfully, I was able to keep my salivary glands under control under both circumstances!

I love them too. :D When I see him next, I'm either going to make my brownies (that everyone that I met from here at OC loved :D ) or traditional chocolate chip cookies, depending on my ingredients. *Remembers Patti's picture of Al looking at the giant chocolate kiss filled with peanut butter*

EDIT: That is so awesome Ambra, you are so lucky getting the Al treatment! :)

Thanks everybody for their compliments! I have more 'in action' pics I can post soon. He's veggie but not vegan? I've read a lot of articles about him lately - many with some contradictory or repetitive information - hard to know what's true or not. Cool to know he still enjoys pizza! Al sure proves wrong all the misconceptions of vegetarianism!! (or veganism with cheating)
I'm not comfortable in my comfort zone - it's poorly named.
