SAG cards

Screen Actor's Guild? Great... more surfing to do. And I had hoped to go to bed early tonight :sigh:

The SAG doesn't allow a search of their membership unless you are also a member. Anyone on the list able to sign up and check this out?

<Scottidog is only a card-carrying member of her local library.>

Al said he's a member in the Ask Al Archive. Bermuda said he's a member. http://www.bermudaschwartz.com/ Jim West said he's a member. http://www.westernmostmusic.com/musicde ... redits.htm And union rules being what they are, I don't see any way the other two guys could get away with working non-union when they're all in the same videos. It just looks like Steve & Ruben chose to focus their websites only on their music, not their on-screen credits.

You know, I hadn't thought about videos. And they have all appeared in UHF (during the videos,) Tapeheads and Safety Patrol. At least I assume so, not having actually seen the last two movies.

Yup. Bermuda is a SAG member too...

Not that I was doubting you , OE.

close quarters

Postby SusanPW » Sat Dec 28, 2002 10:46 pm

Or you could say it's close quarters... for nearly twenty years. And you can tell by the looks on their faces how thrilled they all still are to be in one another's company. :lookround:

If memory serves, didn't the crew also use to ride on the bus? I think the last tour was the first with two buses.

Hey Dave, nice tatoo on Al! Did you know about that?

And Bela and Bo are too cute. Al has doggie jammies? How cool is that? (There are scotties on them, which is bonus points for his Royal Weirdness!)

I know this answer is quite a bit after this question was asked, but ... I just ran across confirmation of this fact online. This is a quote from an interview Al did on the Motley Fool Radio show on 7-10-99, the full text of which is on this website:
http://www.davesfunstuff.com/27artmfl.htm
QUOTE
Well, we're actually hitting the big time this year. We used to travel in a single bus and this is our first *two* bus tour. So we have the band and the crew is separate buses. We're very happy about that. It's a lot of touring, we're doing about six cities a week, so it's pretty grueling just as far as the traveling goes. But the fans are great, the audiences are really enthusiastic.

My sides are splitting from laughing at the pic of Bella with her tongue up Al's nose! Whooohaa!
Congrats to Scottidog for getting her sketch in the fan art section! Congrats to Elvis for getting his very own special surprise! What an honor!

Great pic, Scotti!

Re: new childhood photo. Apparently Al inherited his Hawaiian-shirt gene from his mother. Who'd a' thunk it?

Re: Dave on Al's arm. You know what they say, Dave, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and flattery just doesn't get any better than this. I noticed, looking again at the photos of your tattoos, how considerate it was of Bermuda to make it clear that you have two band members on each leg, and not leave us thinking that you have one band member on each of four legs. :P

Great observation on the childhood photo, OE! Looking at the photos of Al and the pets, I'm wondering if Bo is a free roaming bird, or if he stays in a cage. I have a friend who has a cockatiel, and hers is allowed to roam freely in the house. The only time he goes in a cage is if a lot of people come over or he acts up. My friend thinks it's cool that she has two poodles and a cockatiel, and Al has one poodle and a cockatiel. And her two poodles are gray as well.
